Over the counter acne scar medication and how to dry up acne

One of the best cures for acne is tea tree oil. This oil is used for many different things, but is exceptional in the treatment of acne if you are seeking a natural solution. It is cautioned that pure oil should not be put on the skin, it should be diluted to a five percent solution. To do this add five parts of tea tree oil to 95 parts water. This oil is known to work for acne because it contains antimicrobial and antifungal properties that kill bacteria in the pores which is responsible for acne lesions in the skin.
To a degree you are what you eat. I myself have had the most success when applying natural techniques. When using natural techniques you have the added advantage of improving your overall health at the same time - this way your time is more productively spent.
Antibiotic treatments can be effective, particularly when used in conjunction with skin-shedding applications such as benzoyl peroxide or retinol. However, most topical treatments will show few benefits for at least six months. So you are looking at long-term treatments rather than the quick fix. In fact there really are no quick fixes for acne, although laser treatment can produce rapid results in serious cases.
